Copy cells to a new sheet spacing out the destination cells

    Hello!

I would first like to thank anyone in advance for their help. I love this forum and am very grateful for it.

I am trying to take cells from one sheet and paste them to another. Sounds easy enough. The only caveat is the destination cells are spaced out differently than the original cells.

    Example:

    I need the data from:

    sheet 1 A81 & B81 to go to sheet 3 A5 & B5
    sheet 1 A82 & B82 to go to sheet 3 A30 & B30
    sheet 1 A83 & B83 to go to sheet 3 A55 & B55

it's thousands of lines of data that I would probably die before completing manually.

    Thanks for your help everyone!!!

    Hello brianrhoff,

it's thousands of lines of data... ?
I cannot see where that would come from, with the info you have posted.

I need the colored arrows to copy from the long list of information on the first and past to the individual boxes on the other sheet.

    Hello brianrhoff,

How to attach a sample workbook.

Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate.

Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

    @ JOHN H. DAVIS,

Thanks for helping here John. I was very tempted to also assume 25 Rows, but have decided to make sure.

    Regards.

Thanks so much guys it worked!!!!! Can you help me out with one more thing?

What if I wanted to copy just one column of data over but still wanted to space the pasting destinations out by 25 cells?

Re: Copy cells to a new sheet spacing out the destination cells

Is it possible to paste a formula for this last one? The data from the 1st sheet will change and I need it to reflect appropriately on the 3rd sheet when it's changed.
