Automatically outline (group) rows based on date

I have a standard worksheet with dates in Column A. Starting in row 2, column A has Jan 1, 2008 and continuing down to today. I'm trying to automatically group so that only the last day of each month is visible. Possible?

    Thanks

suppose sample data is like this in column 1 of active sheet

    1/1/2014
    1/31/2014
    2/1/2014
    2/28/2014
    3/1/2014
    3/2/2014
    4/1/2014
    4/30/2014

in my computer the configuration of date is m/d/yy
