Excel 2013 File - Microsoft VBA Error 400

Dear All,

I recently installed windows 8 and excel 2013.

The system runs fine for a while but then excel files refuse to open and the message microsoft excel has stopped working appears.

Excel then tries to recover the file but eventually the system crashes.

If i reinstall windows and excel on the computer it works for a while but then eventually the problem reoccurs.

Whilst i looked online and tried many potential solutions, none have worked thus far.

My workbook contains several macros and when i disable the macros, sometimes the file opens until I enable macros and then it crashes again.

Now and then a VBA error 400 shows on a small screen.

Please note that when i open the workbook on a windows 7 and ecel 2010 they open perfectly.

Has anyone had a similar experience or does anyone know how to solve this problem.

Sorry i am only a simple vba user and dont understand event code nor ThisWorkbook.

Yes this file does run for me on excel 2010 but not on a dedicated PC with 2013.

Please explain what I need to do?
