Recommendations for module that sends emails via CDO with Gmail

Hello.
I would like to work with a module that sends emails via CDO using my Gmail account.

I can find many modules with a simple google however the programmer that I had been in contact with told me that there are many issues with such a module and many of the modules which can be found online have issues with them.
Need help with a module that from your experience is a working module that will work with different computers in different work environments of Excel 2003,2007,2010 and with different Microsoft operating system XP, Vista, Windows 7 ,Windows 8.

Thanks for the info I used the Outlook as well and it worked great.
However I’m looking for a Gmail solution and looking to get recommendations because the programmer I spoke to kind told me it won’t work in all environments.
