Macro to use Month Function

Hi,

I need help regarding the below issue.

I'm Using the below formula in a cell. I'm Trying to use the same through a Macro instead of typing it every time.

Can someone help me on how to write the below function in VBA.

Not quite exactly sure what context you would want this for (especially the "1" in front, seeing as every date for the past 6 years or so has begun with a 4), but something like this :

Hi DominicB,

I'm trying to get the month number based on the name of month. For Ex: if Cell N3 has Mar i need to get number 3 in cell O3.

My Mistake i should have mentioned in my 1st post itself. Hope it is clear now.
