Sumif function with change in moth

    Hi All,

    Thanks in advance.

I have attached example file for your study.

If I changed month to Apr-15 in cell B2 in "Summary" sheet, figures should changed in cell B5 to B7 with sumif from Sheet "Details" for respective head corresponding to Apr-15 month e.g. In "Detail" sheet, Internet Protocol 6 line items with sumif (51536276)/- should reflect in cell B5 once I select Apr-15 in Cell B2.

Same should happen to with other months i.e. if I changed month to May-15 in column B2 in "Summary" sheet, sum of line items from sheet "Details" should reflect in "Summary" sheet with respective head with total for that head from "Details" sheet.

    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi Benishiryo,

Thanks for your support. Though you have given the best possible solution, practically when tried in my file it doesn't work may due to some formula error from my side. Could you pls help with live example. I have attached new file for your reference. Pls. note that address of the column in new file will remain intact and will not change.

Request to make the correction or put your formula in red color cell.

    Thanks in Advance.
