Hi Excel Users,
Currently I have a userform that allows users to fill in information and this information, when submitted, is automatically filled in the spreadsheet.
One of the fields allows a user to search in windows explorer by the use of a browse button for a file. Upon selecting the file it hyperlinks the directory to the text in the cell via:
this takes the text in the CRBrowseText Box and hyperlinks it for the text in the target cell.
This issue I want to somehow address is this:
If a user cannot find the particular file, or a file doesn't exist, the text returned is FALSE, however still hyperlinks the target cell to no directory.
Is there a way I can implement an if statement or some other method for when nothing (i.e. user didnt browse and leaves textbox blanl) or a FALSE is returned after browsing for a file and can't find it, that it will not execute the above code, but so it just does:
Thanks so much for any assistance,
nKife
