collapse columns in conjunction with a collapse rows macro

Hi All,

I have the code below which is working great to collapse empty rows, and when presenting to management they asked if the if the same macro I have working to collapse rows could be modified to also collapse empty columns. I would end up having a formula in row 1 that summed all the rows in a particular column and if those columns sum wasn't zero then it would display an X just like the collapse rows macro looks for to work properly. Any help modifying this macro to include this functionality is greatly appreciated.
