Code to fill in blanks between entries in column

I have a bunch of dates in column A at various different cell spacing's between them. I want a code that will run through column A and "fill in the gaps"
For example, if i have a date in A1 and another date in A6 i want to fill in the blanks between A1 and A6 with the date in A1 (and the same thing with the date in A6 until the next date in column A)
Ive attached an example sheet. My desired result is represented in column B (i dont need any actual output in column B. It is just and example)
