Hide/Unhide Columns

Hi,

I have to make a spread sheet for enquiries. That my colleagues (with way less excel experience) can use it as well, I have to keep it very simple and straight forward.

In line 1-4 you have to type in information like customer, country and currency. Out of those information, you get the description and two different prices from two different price lists to compare for the product code you typed in in column A.

This first part of a green table/box.

Now I need a second box in another color for the margin. But therefore the box is just required sometimes, I would like to hide this box if it is not needed.
In B7 you have to answer the question, if you want to those additional information as well. The whole box should appear/disappear by yes/no. Till now I hide/unhide the written information with "=if(B7="YES"...), but with this formula I cannot hide the color from the box and the table at its self.

Is there a formula for that as well or even a completely easier way?

I think you could do this by using conditional formatting to choose the cell colour based on contents of B7.

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

thanks for the help, unfortunately I have no idea what you are talking about.

I did a little bit of research on the Internet and I found a Code and changed it a little bit(don't know if it is still the right folder):

Now the Columns H:K disappear, if I change the field G1. Is there any opportunity to change this code, that those Columns just appear/disappear with yes/no?
