Hi
I have an odd query and I'm not sure there is a solution.
Basically I am responsible for creating a stock list at work where our software creates a CSV file which is sorted alphabetically by column B. I use a macro to create empty rows between categories to make things easier to find, but then we need all the individual data blocks to be sorted by column A to make items even easier to find. I was hoping there was a way (macro or otherwise) that Excel could sort all the individual blocks of data by column A values whilst respecting the empty row spacing.
Basically I have the attached and was hoping to keep the blocks of data where they are but for them to be organised amongst themselves by column A, with rows 4-18 sorted independently from, but at the same time as, columns 20-35 etc. I’d like to do this for the whole sheet without having to go through manually - It seems lazy but we are talking about 30+ pages of info that needs to be sorted and sent out frequently.
Hope that is clear.
Anyone know if this is easy to do/possible?
