Can't consolidate text values
in excel consolidate funtion text values are not getting consolidated... i have created a macro where consolidation is performed but it does not add text values it gives blanks... is it possible to add text values... if yes then pls suggest me idea...

what exactly does "TEXT" values represent
if you mean the number spelt as word you can use a macro to convert (or UDF - http://blog.contextures.com/archives...bers-in-excel/)
if its a word that presents a number then you can do a table to lookup the value of the text

the excel files are below i want the cities data should also be consolidated when i do consolidation... but in actual scenario it gives blank cells in cities..
