I'm just about to start learning a bit of VBA so that I can, hopefully, implement a User Form on a spreadsheet I have, however it seems that in earlier versions of Excel (2007) they were limited to an area with a maximum of I think 36 columns. I'm using Excel 2016 (365): is this still the case?

Custom user form has no limit. Do you refer to Excel Data Form?
