Getting the row number of a value in a range

Hello Guys,

I'm still learning vba

I know I can use match() but i'm trying to create a custom match function with two possible matching values. I have the following code but it returns the row number of the sheet. Instead I want it to return the row number of the selected range like how a match() function would. Also how do you make it loop and check row by row to find a match?
