    Open new Excel Instance in Safe mode with VBA

    Hi,
    Is there any way to open a new excel instance in Safe mode?
    Right now I am using
    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    to open a new Instance. I open the new excel instance and then do some stuff on the new opened instance.
    Some users have troublesome AddIns that i dont want to load.

    excel has a safe mode??

    hmm maybe you mean you want to disable macros? Do that under File/Options/Trust Center/Trust Center Settings/Macro Setting/check Disable

    Using CreateObject won't load their Add-ins or startup files anyway.

    Yes FDibbins; Office applications have "Safe Mode".

    No, disable addins not built into Excel.
    The programmatic equivalent of EXCEL.EXE /S
