I need to load data from one table into another table and for that data to be placed into the correct cells. I don't want the data to have a formula behind it, I want it to just be a whole value, ie: 1, 2, 3, 4 etc.
I have a table with three variables.
Variable 1 is Name
Variable 2 is Code
Variable 3 is Period Number
This table is found in the Data tab.
In the Dash tab I have a table with empty period values. I need a macro which will lookup the value which should appear under the correct period based on the name and relevant code and place that value into the appropriate column and row.
Does anyone know of a way of doing this?
My thoughts on how to approach this is as follows:
Macro pastes sumifs statements into columns D F and H.
Calculates
Macro Copies values of D F and H
Macro Pastes and values back into D F H
End Macro
However for large amounts of data, which I'm hoping to use this for, that may be quite slow.
I've attached a worksheet with the problem.
