Reference material for Excel 4.0 Macro Functions

    Reference material for Excel 4.0 Macro Functions

    Hi All,
    I've seen a few examples of using ExecuteExcel4Macro to run a Excel 4.0 macro function and then returns its result; like using GET.CELL or GET.DOCUMENT to return information about the cell or the document.

    However, I'm struggling to find any reference material for these functions to learn:
    • what all Excel 4.0 Macro Functions are there
    • what are the different parameters for these functions
    • what different value(s) will they return

    Anyone knows of any good online/downloadable source for such reference material?

    You can get all the information from a help file called macrofun.hlp.

    Download this file from microsoft site and install it :

    If your OS is newer than WindowsXP, the OS cannot open the .hlp file because a file called WinHlp32.exe is not included in these OS, you need to install it first, look here :
