I have an issue with my vba application. while I am opening my excel sheet i am getting an errror like can't find project or library. can anyone help me out.
I tried to execute both in windows7/10 but same error. I am using excel 2016 32 bit.

Open the VBE and do Tools > References. Look for one at the top of the list that says MISSING. Untick it.

I am new to this VBA scripting I had a code that already written. when I try to open excel sheet,it is prompting me compile error i.e can't find project or library.

Do Alt+F11 to open the VBE
Tools > References
In the list of ticked references at the top, look for one that says MISSING. Untick it.
But in tools reference is greyed i.e inactive
Press Run > Reset and try again.
If i run the code i am getting error msg and if i reset same error
I had a security warning like : external data connection have been enabled, if i enable then i am getting error and then i click ok i am not able to go to regerences in tools.
If i donot enable security warning i can see refernce in active mode and i find missing microsoft windows common control 26.0 (sp6)
Windows commons controls have not been distributed with Excel for a long time (maybe 2007?)

I've never used the library, and so have no other suggestion.
