Is your Access file in the exact same location as it was in Win7?
    Same folder.
    Same folder path.

ADODB ACCESS Connection Problem Win 7 to Win 10

    Hi,
This will not be a great help, I am only just staring to learn this ADO stuff and you may know all this...

_1) The line that is erroring for you is some sort of “connection thing”. Every time I have used that Line I have had a problem. Up until now I have got the thing to work just by experimenting with the different available “connections”
_1a) Here is one good source for some different connections
    https://www.connectionstrings.com/excel/
    https://www.connectionstrings.com/access/

_1b) I noticed that some published connection strings have syntax error , such as missing, or incorrectly place quotes, for example. But I guess then that would work or not work in both operating systems, so there should be no differences there, ....... Or maybe that could explain why there are what appears to me to be syntax errors. – Possibly they “work” in a different system. But this seems unlikely to me. .... ?
    http://www.connectionstrings.com/que...-syntax-error/

_2) However, I expect a Windows 7 to Windows 10 difference should not be a “connection” thing as I thought the different “connections” were to do with different Excel / Access software rather than Operating system. I guess you have searched the internet and have seen that many people gave had a similar problem to what you are having.. ( ADO connections not working when going from Win 7 to Win 10 ) . In particular these seemed relevant.

    _............

_.. Sorry I cannot help more, as I only have XP Vista and occasionally Win 7. However I am considering an update to Win 10 with a new computer. So please if you do get the problem solved feedback as that could be relevant to me.

Hope at least my reply has brought the thread back up for you so that an ADO expert may catch it for us.
