Ranking Formula to show the top 25 from a list of 1000 - Any thoughts

    Hello Everyone,

I am needing a formula that provides the correct ranking from a list of 1000 employee's...

The data is pulled from another sheet in the workbook and displayed on another sheet.. The formula needs to attain the data from a list of 1000 employees and display the top 25 and Rank the Top 25... Any Idea's would be appreciated

    Best Regards,

    John

    JJ,

that isn't enough detail to help. Is the rank based on some score? Or is it alphabetical?

Best if you attach a sample sheet.

    Cheers

    Hi Amit,

I have attached a sample sheet for review... Is this good enough of an example?

    Hi there,

Take a look at the attached version of your workbook and see if it does what you need.

    It uses the following code:

Please Login or Register to view this content.
The highlighted values can be altered to suit your own requirements.

Clicking on the "Rank Employees" button will produce the ranking based on the data contained in Sheet2. The Sheet1 worksheet also takes account of situations where employees have equal scores and assigns joint rankings to each of them.

Hope this helps - please let me know how you get on.

    Regards,

    Greg M
