How to record data that's constantly changing

    Hi,

I am new to this forum, so I apologies in advance if someone has asked a similar query.

I'm currently working on a dashboard. It has a dropdown which has 4 options and based on the option the numbers will update accordingly. for each options the user will have to input some figures of their own. The problem I'm facing is that i have no way of saving the numbers for each option, before the next user changes option from the dropdown. Ideally I would like to save the numbers onto a worksheet withing the dashboard so that I can show a summary for the 4 options.

Any help would be greatly received.

    Thanks in advance.

Why not just have one set of inputs for each department?

I can do, but i was given specific protocols to have it in one sheet and to record the input separately

I think you've been signed up to a needlessly over-complicated task.
