    Excel File Created by PDF

    Hi,

    In the attached file I'm having a problem the Range("AC8"). Which is for a date.
    My problem is the Range specified appears to have "Spaces" between "Date Of Order" and the Date.
    As mentioned this file was created by "PDF". How can I get rid of what appears to be extra spaces.

    There may be some chars in there,

    Try =trim(ac8) and see if that clears it up or VBA

    dave,

    Thanks for the suggestion. However, when I tried you method it still failed.
    The range does show the date only. But if you look at the formula bar it shows a drop down.
    And when to click it the formula bar does show anything.

    Do you want to remove the "DATE OF ORDER" TEXT ALSO?

    If the data is consistent, then the position to look for is the line feed after "DATE OF ORDER"
