I cannot get my splash screen to activate on start up despite the fact that it runs fine when the VBA code is run independently?

Hello bralew,
To activate your Splash Screen on opening the Workbook, use the ThisWorkbook_Open Event to show the userform.
Please consider:

I've added the instruction but it still won't open on startup but works when i run the code. Here's the code:
