Creating a Named Range with unique values

Hi!

I have a sheet with in column A a lst of license plates.
I want to use the complete range to create a Named Range, to use this in a Combobox in a userform.
The problem i now have is that some of these license plates are duplicate in this range.

Is there a way (without remove duplicates because i would then lose my data) to create a named range with only unique values? Or that my combobox only shows unique items?

How many records do you need to load in Combobox? Is it critical to have Named Range?
There is fast method how to load unique records - using Scripting.Dictionary
