Hello. I am trying to create a VBA application that adds comments to cells based on the values of a call that is being calculated using a formula in that cell. Here is the scenario, on one tab in the workbook is the raw data tab where we capture vehicle vin#'s, build dates, etc. On a second tab that we call paynter chart the raw data is being sorted by month (two and whether the claim is open or closed using the COUNTIFS command. Each month has a two cells one for open and one for closed claims. So if we have ten claims in one month and are all open the number 10 appears on the right cell. As the claims are closed the right cell (open) counts down while the left cell (closed) counts up.
Within each cell is a comment that captures the VIN#, build date and other information that is on the raw data tab. What I am looking to do is have the comments automatically update when the chart is opened so that VIN#'s, build date, etc., is automatically moved into the closed or open cell comments within the month based on whether the claims is closed or open.
