Mirror multiple cells across multiple worksheets.

    Hi,

I have a workbook with multiple sheets:

    2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, ANALYSIS

Cells A1 and A2 on all the dated pages are linked to cells A1 & A2 on the ANALYSIS.

I want to be able to change the value of A1 & A2 on any of the sheets and it reflect across all the others.

Currently I have to switch back to the ANALYSIS sheet every time I need to change the value.

    (see attached)

Is there a nice way of linking the cells in both directions?

My VB experience is extremely slim so please dumb it right down if possible.

Thanks in advance for any help

Since all the sheets needs to update A1 and A2 cells .you can do it simply grouping the sheets and changing cell values on the active sheet.then ungroup them.you will have all the sheets updated in one go.
You may group sheets manually or by a macro like this

    Hi,

    Thanks for that.

However I was looking for a more permanent way. I'm not the only person using this workbook, so it needs to just happen automatically.

Plus there are other sheets in the workbook which I don't want linked. So would have to manually group specific sheets each time.

Anyone else have any ideas on this?

I found this answer on another site: http://www.ozgrid.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51697

But I can't get that to work. And I think that's only for linking two sheets. I'm not sure how I would roll that out over multiple sheets if I could get it to work.

    ???
