Changing Cell format based on another cells format.

Im having and issue with the function of this. As an example lets say I bold cell A1 I want cell B1 to bold then. I want this to be able to do it from A1:A50 & B1:B50.

Im trying to figure out the basic function.

This sort of does it but using offset messes it up. It goes by the offset to the next cell i move to not the cell to the exact right. Also if I click outside of the range A1:A50 it errors out "Object variable or With block variable not set".

What i will be doing is if someone lets say bolds the text in a cell it will do all the formatting to the cell and another cell located somewhere else on the page.

I really wouldn't recommend doing this. You can just use format painter instead...

But you can try something like below.

Thanks i tried it out. Seems like selection change might not be the way to do this. The thing is some cells are locked that i need my technicians to format. I cant unlock them because they will mess up the formulas(some are very complex). But the design side total that they input need formatted maybe ill just create a button on the side of the page that they can select the cell and hit format. That way it will format all the cells needed.

It is a shame that excel doesnt understand formatting in sheet change sub only cell values.
