Making a worbook verified for all macros

    Hi!

I wonder if there is a possibility to enable all macros specified in one workbook automatically withoud having clicing "Enable macros" each time?

However I want to allow only one worbook with stiil having restriction to macros in other workbooks. I will be grateful for any solution on that thing?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Change the Trust Center settings.

Go to the top left Microsft button (File) > Options > Trust Center > Open Trust Center.

Left hand side of the window, select "Macros" and then select the radio button "Enable all Macros"

Let me know how you get on

    Thanks

Re: Making a worbook verified for all macros

The enable macros issue is part of Excel's inbuilt security & cannot be bypassed. Individual installations of Excel can alter the settings so that macros are automatically accepted - this ca be done by selecting Tools|Macros|security

Re: Making a worbook verified for all macros

Thank you both for answers but as far as I know when I click this option macros in every single worbook I receive will be automatically enabled. Would the not?
For example I have two workbooks: Workbook1 and Workbook2. If I click this option on the Workbook1 the macros in the workbook2 will also be enabled?

Yes as you are changing the setting for the application, not the workbook.

I'm not sure there's a way around enabling macros for 1 workbook.

Anyone else know of a way, perhaps VBA?

Nope as said in post 3...It is inbuilt

I don't recall any version of Excel that allowed macros to run automatically unless the user set the option to allow it.

Re: Making a worbook verified for all macros

If you enable all macros, that will enable macros without challenge for all workbooks.

Typically, in Excel 2010+, when you enable macros for a specific workbook, Excel will treat that workbook as trusted and not ask the question again.

You could also create a separate forlder and add that to your Trusted Locations and save the workbook into that folder.
