Paste options greyed out

Somewhere in this workbook is a macro or procedure that is preventing me from doing a copy and paste. There is no problem if I disable macros, but I can't figure out what is causing the problem.
Please keep in mind that I am all but illiterate here. Basically, I steal bits of code here and there, often with your help, and try to beat them into submission.
I am attaching the entire (depersonalized) workbook.
The only macros or procedures are a userform, a button to call the userform, and a macro to open the workbook on sheet "DATA". I think I may have things in the wrong place or duplicates when I couldn't get something to work.

My solution would not help your request. In fact I was unable to duplicate your error.
- I was able to manually copy and paste new records.
- I was able to manipulate the data by using the Entry Form

Yes, I am trying to manually copy and paste, and yes the sheet is unprotected. This only happens in sheet "DATA".
Further experimenting, I can copy from sheet "DATA" to another sheet in the workbook or another document. I just cannot paste anything into sheet "DATA", from any part of the workbook.
I can paste from an external source.
