Center Align text across different rows (alternative to merging)

Thank you so much for your reply & your help.

Your code works, but it I have probably not explain my problem correctly, because this is not exactly what I am looking for.

What I would like is that the text that overflows a cell (because it is too long) goes to cell of the row below (rather than the cells of the next columns).

So in your example, the text appears ok (it appears on different rows), but it belongs to different cells (rather than belonging to only one).

I have attached another file to explain things more clearly.

Thanks again for the quick answer, but here it is a merged cell (or almost, right?).

What I would like is for the whole text to be in one cell (but to overflow in others if too long). Basically, I write in A2 - if the text is too long, it goes to B2, C2, etc if they are empty. If I write now something now in C2, the text will stop in B2 because the row is no more empty.

To my knowledge, Center Across Selection does not work vertically and I don't think there are any alternatives that does not involve merging cells or breaking apart texts.

So you want in one cell that you indicated "This is not an alternative"?

I don't think it is possible AFAIK.
Too many things to consider anyway, such like ColumnWidth/RowHeight, Font Name/Size...etc.
