copied across and down will give you the differences between successive rows in each of the columns.

Sorry, I don't recognise those numbers in the file you attached.

Would you upload the workbook with the results you expect and clearly explain which cells you have used to calculate the results. Be sure to include several rows of results

i.e. (presumably) differences from the previous row, not differences to the previous column
If you want the column difference then just change the formula around

i.e.
=B5-A5

and copy across and down.

So do the two formulae I've given provide the answers you want?

If not please do as requested in post #6 and upload a workbook which contains the results you expect. Clearly identify which cells are the results
