Macro to add selected value to the bottom of an order form

    Hi All,

Struggling to record a macro to do this and know no VBA so need a little help.

    I have a Vlookup table:

Item is a dropdown list. The V look up then selects the Category and the Rate card price. Price is put in manually and the discount and % are formulas.

I had recorded a macro that copys the data in to a replica table below which will be an order form. I could only work it out to insert a new line and copy into that moving items down the table. Ideally I want it to insert the new line below the previous one.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks,

    Tom

I've now closed your other thread and provided a link to this one. We can't have two threads running on what is essentially the same query - sorry.

Re: Macro to add selected value to the bottom of an order form

Will you please attach a sample Excel workbook? We are not able to work with or manipulate a picture of one and nobody wants to have to recreate your data from scratch.

    1. Make sure that your sample data are REPRESENTATIVE of your real data. The use of unrepresentative data is very frustrating and can lead to long delays in reaching a solution.

    2. Make sure that your desired solution is also shown (mock up the results manually).

    3. Make sure that all confidential data is removed or replaced with dummy data first (e.g. names, addresses, E-mails, etc.).

    4. Try to avoid using merged cells as they cause lots of problems.

Unfortunately the attachment icon doesn't work at the moment, so to attach an Excel file you have to do the following: just before posting, scroll down to Go Advanced and then scroll down to Manage Attachments. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.

Please pay particular attention to point 2 (above): without an idea of your intended outcomes, it is often very difficult to offer appropriate advice.

Re: Macro to add selected value to the bottom of an order form

    Hi AliGW,

Thank you for your continued support.

I have attached the document EHOrderFrom.

Marco4 has been assigned to the Add to YP button. It adds whatever has been selected from row 3 to row 6 by inserting a new row and copying into it.

I would like it to add it to the first blank line. Preferably inserting a new line as there will be 3 off these tables.

    I hope that makes sense.

    Kind regards,
