Hi ID015
Can you clarify?
1) what determines which image is visible to the user?
(for example do other values in the userform or worksheet determine which image is visible?)
2) does each image have different options or are many of the options common to more than one image?

Thanks for the reply Kev, I was planning to put all images in a folder, get excel to get a list of files on the folder as index and have additional columns to store info.
i.e. column A file name, column B, reviewed Y/N, Column C Notes
Images should load on a form in excel with a dropdown (value to be stored in Column C) and a button to save/next (values to be stored in Column B).
I think I could do most of it if the images were gif/jpegs... but I don't know how to open TIFF in a form in excel
ActiveX controls in Excel do not like tiff files
Could you not convert your images to jpeg? - VBA is made easy
This places the (jpeg)image selected in combobx1(dropdown) into (frame)Image1

I was hoping to keep the file in tiff format but don't think I can ...
Why do you not want to convert tiff file and save to folder as jpeg?
(other than being lazy )
I have worked out a way to do this - using Excel itself to create the jpeg...
Select tiff name from dropdown... then ....
1. Insert tiff file in cell A1
2. Make cell A1 same size as image
3. Take "picture" of cell A1
4. Create Temporary sheet to hold a temporary chart
5. Make chart same size as image
6. Paste picture of A1 to chart
7. Save chart as jpeg file
Add jpeg to userform frame (Image1)
