Re: VBA not working on protected Sheet

    Thank you Leo

With the extra code included where I believe it needs to go, the behaviour of the sheet is not yet as I am hoping for.

When I protect the sheet, then go to click on a cell - say an X a Password window pops up requiring entry of the password to go any further.
My requirement is to have the cells in the columns unlocked, but the sheet locked (protected).
Also there are some cells in the attached which I have marked do not accept anything , even a double click and an error message when protected.
The Tab protect and unprotect seems to operate without a password.

I am not sure if I have placed the code in the correct place so this may be my problem. Hope you can correct me please.
Note there are 2 x names ranges included.
