Code to Number Rows as a Sheet is Auto Updated

Folks, I have a worksheet that is auto updated by another application.

I need to assign a number to each row as it gets pushed down by new rows from each update.

I have included notes in the attachment for a full explanation of my requirement.

You say the Sheet gets automatically updated by another application. Does it insert only one Row at a time, or may it vary?

Hi hammer2,

I forgot to mention that you should place my Code in a Standard Module, and the at the end of the other Application before, End Sub, which updates your Sheet, you enter "Call Hammer" -without the quotes.
