    Lock Screen When Protected

Hello I have a sheet 'Switchboard' that I only want in view A1:P26. Is there a way to do that when the workbook is protected?

Also can the 'UnProtect Workbook' be password enabled without affecting the other codes?

Thank you very much for helping,
    Billy

    .
If I understand what you are asking ... paste this macro into a Routine Module :

    Thank you for replying.

There is currently a ProtectAll module in place. Is this one a standalone or is it to replace that one?

This new macro is separate from anything else that you have. I didn't look at anything else in the workbook.

Took a quick look. If it is acceptable with you ... unprotect the workbook first before you hide or unhide the range. Then protect the workbook again.

I inserted the module and assigned it to a shape. Then clicked on it and the prompt for password popped up. I pressed enter and the workbook disappeared. Where did it go and how to get it back please?

The macro should not have made the workbook disappear. It is only selecting a range on the Switchboard sheet. There must be something else going on there that can't be reproduced here.

Worst case scenario is to download the edited version in Post #2 and carry on.

It did disappear completely but I have a backup so no worries.

I will try some other way perhaps move the areas that I don't want them to see to another sheet.

I'm curious... if you run the edited version posted, does it still disappear?
