Hello beautiful people! Can someone give me the correct verbiage to record a macro what will open the FIND dialog box, then search for what ever I need, I assume that would be some sort of wild card, and then, and here's the most important part, I need it to CLOSE the dialog box when done.

There is not a built in function to do what you want. See if you can use something like this
Ot it could possibly be done using Send Keys method. Ctrl + F

Any code provided by me should be tested on a copy or a mock up of your original data before applying it to the original. Some events in VBA cannot be reversed with the undo facility in Excel. Thank you JLGWhiz. The code DOES work, however, now I have 2 additional steps to add.... to say YES and then NO to the questions. But it's better than CTRL+F not closing automatically. Thanks so much!
