    Question Read-Only or Notify?

    Hi, all

I have this macro where one of its function is to open a workbook, copy content from a sheet and close it back. But, since this workbook is in a shared drive, how is it possible for any user to run my macro without being disturbed if the workbook is opened by someone else?

I have read several forums and they mentioned that I should include

but in another forum, it says that ReadOnly will give an error, hence we should use

    instead.

I would like to seek opinions from you guys. Which method shall I use? Or is there any other better idea?

Isn't easier to just test both options with your file/macro?

When I included both, my macro has become lagged. Not sure why, though.
