Group multiple radio buttons and extract data to report

    Hi Folks

I had a couple of radio buttons in sheet1 for a 2 categories called Spares and Emergencies . I need some help with the following:

    1. after i select an option between yes and No for each category and i key in the location in cell B3 the data transfers over to the report tab to columns H and I. If yes is selected then a tick will be displayed and for a no answer a cross will be displayed.

    2. I realized i am unable to group multiple radio buttons eg in emergency. When i place a radio button there i am only able to still select just one radio button at a time.

There are two types of controls that you can use on worksheets: Forms and ActiveX. You are using Forms.

If you want to have more than one group of option buttons using Forms controls, you must put each group of buttons within a Group Box. The Group Box is another control you can Insert. After adding the Group Box, just move your option buttons inside the group box. I have update your file for you.

(The method to resolve this with ActiveX controls is a bit different but I won't get into that here.)

Thanks Jeff. Its something very helpful I learned today on question 2 of my query about forms and activeX.

Can I check will you be familiar with how I can extract the yes and No data that is selected into the report tab to column H and I. When I Key in the location ID in cell B3, the data from columns A to G are stamped in to the report. The addiontal feature that i would like to learn about is to extract the activeX selected options into the report as well.
