    Drill Down Data

    I have a question.

I am working on an excel file, and i would like to add a feature like in the attached file.
if i select on + it will turn to - and will show the relevant data from the corresponding sheet
( this will insert row below to that and display record and upon deselection ( when - turn to +)
the row get deleted automatically so that all the data on main sheet can be very sequential)

Can any one guide me how to do this using VBA

    Thanks

    Re: Drill Down Data

Are you willing to accept a pop-up window instead?
One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.

    Re: Drill Down Data

    Hi Friend..
I appreciate if i could get the result in below to that line itself. That will help me if i have to
take a print of that report.

i have seen something similar to that in youtube. youtube.com/watch?v=sKOpTOTbPSI[/url]
but don't know how to change that to this format.

    Thanks

It seems that you would like someone to undertake the whole project for you rather than just help. The idea of a forum like this is that you come to us with issues that you have got stuck with, and we help you through them. If you do want someone to do the whole job, then you need to buy some points to reward them with and post in the commercial services section.

    Re: Drill Down Data

Since I think it's a nice feature where others can also benefit from I've adapted the code to your sample file.

I just used the code 'As Is' so that one is debatable.

    Stock sheet module.

Avoid using Select, Selection and Activate in your code. Use With ... End With instead.
