How to Create a VBA Code for Formulas

    Good morning,

I have a spreadsheet that I am trying to determine what projects are over 30 day, 45 and 60 days. I am currently copying and pasting to each cell and entering the information manually. Is there a VBA code to automate the spreadsheet. Thank you.

    In Excel

I start the macro recorder and record myself entering the formula into the cells.

Then I stop the recorder and edit the recorded Macro.

If you could supply a sample of the other workbook that might be a great help.

Re: How to Create a VBA Code for Formulas

I was trying to make all the dates to read DD-MMM-YY. in one of the columns it will not read DD-MMM-YY when I format it. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. The spreadsheet is very lengthy. If I did macro's, it would be a lot of macros. Is there any way I can do a VBA code instead?
I'm trying to count the projects that are over 31 to 45 days; over 46-60 days and over 61days; count how many projects are completed. I'm not sure if the formula is correct since all the days are negative. The subtotal are grouped and the final total is total for all the group totals. Is there a simple way?
    Thank you.
