I want to have some code to
1) select a power point file
2) go through it and take any images and any tables (it happens the tables will be the same format across any particular power point) and put them in an excel file
3) record the slide that they came from
the main thing is just getting all the power point data into excel in an orderly manner but I was imagining the slide number in column A, pictures in column B with as many rows as needed, table entries in column c to g (or wherever the table ends) for as many rows as needed and then the data for the next slide starts on the next free row until we are all out of slides.
tables will all be the same number of columns for each power point, only one table per sheet and there may be multiple images.
I am assuming this can be done in a fairly robust way - if not that will be useful information.
