If columns match between two sheets, then keep subtracting amount to 0

    Hi,

This is probably very simple but i'm stuck

I have two sheets, both with References and Amounts in Columns A and B. I would like to subtract the initial amount in Sheet1, Column B by the first amount in Sheet2, Column B providing the References match.

So in sheet2, cell C2, the first result would show 26,000 because the whole 26,000 goes into 30,000 but would then like to see the remainder (4,000) in cell C3

Once this has been met, the rest of the entries for reference ABC123 would be blank and then repeated for the next reference

    Any suggestions would be great!
