On/Off Button that Changes Color (Lights Up)

I'm trying to create a button that hides/un-hides shapes and ALSO changes color. I have the macro to hide/un-hide taken care of, but I can't seem to get the lighting portion. Does anyone have a quick and simple method to solve this issue? Please and thank you.

    Hello Jim Clayton,

If you are using a Forms Control Button, you won't be able to change the Color of the Button. But with an Active X-Control Toggle, that might be possible.

Attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.

    Regards.

Thank you both for the help. I was able to come up with an alternate solution soon after posting. However, I appreciate the time spent on this. Tks.

Yeah, my apologies. Literally had the idea for something right after making the post so I got to work on it and it ended up working out. Tks again.
