Exclamation "Found a problem with some content" error on opening file

I have this popup issue, "found a problem with some content excel...", when opening my *.xlsm file in Excel 2016.

Similar to this http://www.excelforum.com/excel-prog...ver-as-mu.html, I'm suspecting the issue might be with data validation being over 255 characters.

Everything seems to work fine but when I close and open the workbook only then the popup error occurs.

I'm using 3 macro buttons in my workbook for Horizontal Filtering.

I'm currently stuck as I obviously can't seem to add too much information into a cell due to this error and spent hours making copies of my excel file trying to pin point what exactly was causing this issue. Please help...

Re: Found a problem with some content excel.

The problem is likely not in the code you posted, but rather in the data that your code is working with.

The best way for us to troubleshoot it this is to have your file. The paper clip icon does not work for attachments. Instead, under the text box where you type your reply click the Go Advanced button. On the next screen scroll down and click on Manage Attachments, which will show a pop-up window to Select and Upload a file. Then close the window.

    Yes, you're right!
The simplest solution that worked for me was to have data validation removed on closing my workbook.

This seems to do the trick!
