    Obtaining summary file considering excel files in a folder

    Dear Excel Experts,
    We have a folder in which we are updating / saving Day & Shift wise reports. And for summarize / monitoring purpose, we require a summary file.

    Note : All Day & Shift wise files are password protected (password is abc123) and with multiples worksheets and with same structure.

    path is : P:\Operations\Private\Stevedoring\Shift Report\Year 2018\Nov 2018
     where we are saving all the files year-wise, month-wise and shift-wise

    there are 4 different worksheets in each workbook

    snap of one worksheet named..
    due system restriction / error, unbale to attached file..
    hence, uploading snaps of said worksheets from file.

    As we do not have access to where you are saving all the files year-wise, month-wise and shift-wise "path is : P:\Operations\Private\Stevedoring\Shift Report\Year 2018\Nov 2018"
    we would unfortunately not be able to assist you.

    (all other files are same structured )
    Namesof files will be...
    1st Nov Day 2018.
    1st Nov Night 2018.
    2nd Nov Day 2018.
    2nd Nov Night 2018.
    3rd Nov Day 2018.
    3rd Nov Night 2018.
    4th Nov Day 2018.
    4th Nov Night 2018.
    and so on...

    You state Inter Alia the following;
    where we are saving all the files year-wise, month-wise and shift-wise
    None of your sample data includes all of above, and I would therefor not be able to assist you any further. Please "Bump" your Thread and see if there might be another Forum Member whom may be of help.

    i have raw code for Copying data from password Protected WB to Master File..(please help me to complete further i.e. defining desired ranges from multiple files and compiling in one file)

    Avoid using Select, Selection and Activate in your code. Use With ... End With instead.

    You are right Boss, 15 days ago you have replied to another post "Creation of desired data (Output) from EDI file (Input)" and mistakenly I ignored this without checking the same as priority basis i was more involved / busy in post "Obtaining summary file considering excel files in a folder"

    See posts #4, #7 and #17. You seem to have managed to upset some members who have been trying to help you by not responding to their offers of help and ignoring requests for extra information that is not present in your sample workbook, so it is unlikely that you are going to get the help you require. Constantly bumping the thread with no attempt on your part to answer their queries is not going to get you any further forward.

    No, the case is not what you have stated,
    If you see my 1st post, i have attached an excel file naming “Summary Nov 2018.xlsx‎” and due to size constrain I was not able to attach /upload sample files. But attached detailed snaps..
    And after revert from Winon, somehow I managed to attached a sample file “1st Nov Night 2018..xlsx”‎ and mentioned in details that all other files are like-wise.. structure is same, cells from where information are to be obtained into summary file is same just…file names in a folder are different and with identical name format.
    Moreover, I have attached one more file here.
    In Conclusion, desired file “Summary Nov 2018.xlsx‎” and files “1st Nov Night 2018.xlsx”‎ & “ 1st Nov Day 2018.xlsx”‎, from where same of information is to be obtained are attached, path is also provided, where all such files are to be considered for summary file preparation.

    Sorry, but, where is question of upset developed?
