    Hello guys,

I have a trial balance structured on analytic and synthetic accounts that looks like following:

I need a vba code to make a distinction between analytical accounts and syntethical accounts.

Could you please be kind to help me with this topic?

I'd recommend uploading sample workbook and sample of desired result.

To upload, use "Go Advanced" and follow "Manage Attachments" hyperlink. It will launch new tab/window for managing uploads.

But, why would you need VBA? You already appear to have A/S column. Or was that manually added?

    Hello CK,

Have been manually added for explanation purposes.
I have uploaded the sample presented above, the column A/S should be the final result.

    Thanks,
    Sorin

You don't need VBA for this.

From your sample, following formula should give you the result.
    In G2:
