Add Row Command Button on Protected Sheet?

I have a log sheet set so that when an employee enters in data in a cell, it locks the cell and they cannot edit it again. This makes my sheet protected. Which means it will not allow me to add new rows to my table. I want to make a button to add rows at the bottom of the table as many times as I need. But every macro I used says syntex error.

It doesn't have to be a button, if someone could just help me to be able to add rows freely
