Add Row Command Button on Protected Sheet?

I have a log sheet set so that when an employee enters in data in a cell, it locks the cell and they cannot edit it again. This makes my sheet protected. Which means it will not allow me to add new rows to my table. I want to make a button to add rows at the bottom of the table as many times as I need. But every macro I used says syntex error.

It doesn't have to be a button, if someone could just help me to be able to add rows freely

You need to share the workbook after desensitizing it if required along with the codes you are using to protect the cells and to add a new row.
