Heading selection in one cell corresponds to another its items in another cell

Hello Everyone,

I need a bit of help. I have a few columns on one worksheet (sheet2); it has headings(A1-C1) and corresponding items below it (A2 - and downward). Now I want a drop-down selection on Sheet1 at A2 and when I select a particular Heading Say(A1 Heading), I want the corresponding items list of that heading to show up in the cell(B1). I have attached a sample of how it should look like. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank u in advance.

See in the attachment how 2 names are defined (ribbon: formulas-> group: Defined names -> Name manager)

cell with a header has just a list of all headers as validation list, cell with values - the second defined name.

note that after changing cell with selected header nothing changes automatically with selected item. Only selecting new item allows one to to it from an updated item list (corresponding to selected header).

To change items automatically after category cjanges, one shall use events hangdler (VBA procedure) for Worksheet_Change event . There are many examples of such procedures on our forum.
